ETHEL VAUGHN is a fresh sportswear brand from Hamburg/Germany -
founded by Kadda Diedrich in 2010 - on the edge of contemporary and avant-garde.

ETHEL VAUGHN stands for visually bold pieces with clashing textures for all sexes.

With an array of strong colors and playful patterns, the designs are an easy and fun wake up call to everyday pieces. Diedrich explores the clothing style of the late 80s to early 90s and her underlying passion for Hip-Hop music with a decidedly modern approach and mixes innovative shapes with urban avant-garde attitude.

Collaborations with diverse international artists and graphic designers offer sharp aesthetic expressions and create a kaleidoscope world made of colors, outspoken prints and shapes. The idea which lies beneath is not just to mix
and match contrasts and opposites, like technical and classic materials,
but to interact in creative eclecticism and freedom.
